The Story Behind the Craft

Hello kind soul,

I’m the hands and heart behind Faerie Fern. I've always been drawn to creating anything artsy and handmade speaks to me.

When I found out I was expecting my little girl, something bloomed inside me. I had always dreamed of working with clay, so I decided to finally make that dream a reality. I began taking pottery classes, learning this craft.

That’s when I truly fell in love with clay, its earthy, grounding, full of quiet magic. I was captivated by the slow, soulful process of shaping it into something both beautiful and useful.

I set up a small pottery studio in my back garden, few shelves and a table made by my amazing husband.

Eventually, I bought my first kiln an absolute dream come true. I could finally fire my pieces and create pottery with real purpose.

Nature is my greatest inspiration. The uneven shapes the texture of each product i create... I try to reflect that wild, whimsical beauty in each piece I make, letting the clay take on a life of its own.

My pieces include some humor and inspirational quates that would uplift you for the day.

This is my journey, my dream, and my future.
